We have two world championships of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in the top 5 watched esports events of 2021. The recently concluded M3 world championship had an overall watch time of 62.61m hours, making it the most-watched MLBB esports event of the year. The peak viewership of the event was at 3.19m.

PMGC or the PUBG Mobile Global Championship is next on the list. The zeroth season of the tournament didn't have any teams from India. And the group stages started in November 2020. According to Esports Charts, the highest viewership for an esports event in 2021 was 5.41m for the Free Fire World Series. Almost 2m of the peak viewership came from the Hindi-speaking audience. These numbers are so high that they aren't just the most-watched esports event of 2021 but also of all time.
